Im about 8 months into training, wil "volume progression" during mesocycles be beneficial for me as a begginer/low intermidiate or should i just add weight and reps + deload every once in a while? I would be thankful for an anwser from someone more educated.
His 650 at 275 in 1983 was completely raw, no equipment at all. This lift to me is even more impressive. It stood for well over 30 years until Jeremy Hoonstra finally broke it.

I wish I could understand that bracing technique since I'm having issues with that after some lower back problems. But breathing into my obliques does not compute in my brain, I don't know how to consciously do anything with my obliques when I'm in that position.
I definitely feel much more confident in my ability to do half-reps on the bench.

I have a hard time with squats. Weak, skinny legs.
I think it was Zack Telander who showed some of these and cued not to use your hips to hit the bar, that the bar touching the hip really isn't the main focus or that important at all. That helped quite a bit. Doing something like muscle snatch gave a really good feel to the bar path and fluidity of vertical motion, you really can't start swinging back and forth or do other compensations for the vertical movement. Muscle snatch became my favourite to drill in the key focus.

I won't use it since I focus on hypertrophy training but I can see how useful this is, it looks like a great product.
